Sustainable Timber Tasmania provides access to Permanent Timber Production Zone (PTPZ) land for a range of purposes – both long-term and short-term – through leases, licenses, and forest activity assessments.

You may require a lease or license for:

  • Operating a business
  • Commercial collection of bush food
  • Agistment
  • Apiary
  • Access to private land

Access arrangements may be exclusive or non-exclusive, depending on the nature of the activity and location.

All applications received by the closing date will be entered into a random draw for each site and the successful applicants notified in writing via email.

The successful applicant must enter into a licence agreement with STT and is responsible for the associated fees as noted on the application form.
